It is our school policy that all children wear school uniform when attending school, or when participating in a school-organised events outside normal school hours. Blean School Uniform can be purchased from School Colours Direct. Secondhand uniform can be purchased through the PTFA. Our school uniform is as follows:

Uniform

• yellow polo shirt
• brown cardigan or jumper
• black/grey trousers, brown skirt, brown pinafore dress or yellow gingham summer dress.
• plain white or dark coloured socks, brown or black tights. NO LEGGINGS OR PATTERNS.

Footwear

In order to look smart and not injure their feet or ankles, the children should wear sensible enclosed plain black or brown shoes.  Shoes must not be made of canvas or have an obvious logo. During colder months, boots can be worn in school, however, they must not have a heel or platform and must be lower than the calf.  Trainers or plimsolls can be worn on the field or playground during the lunch break.   

PE/Games

• yellow t-shirt
• black shorts or dark coloured tracksuit bottoms
• plimsolls, trainers for outdoor activities. Children can go barefoot for indoor activities.

School Colours Direct

School Colours Direct is an online only service with home and school delivery. To access the school shop, please click here to first set up your account. If you use a search engine to set up an account, you will not be able to access the shop. 

Deliveries to School

You can choose to order online and ship to the school; this service is provided free of charge; it can take up to 2 weeks for your order to arrive at school.

All delivery date information is available on the school’s online shop, just click on ‘Delivery & Returns’ which is on every garment page, and which is specific to our school. In 2024, deliveries will be made on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month with the following exceptions;

April – Friday 19th and 26th

May – Friday 10th and Thursday 23rd

July – The last delivery will be on Friday 12th

September – The first delivery will be on Friday 13th

December – The last delivery will be on Friday 13th

Home Deliveries

Home deliveries are usually despatched within 3 days, this can increase to 5 days during busy periods.  All delivery date information is available on the school’s online shop, just click on ‘Delivery & Returns’ which is on every garment page.

Uniform Fitting

If you would like to try before you buy, we have a size set of all available clothing items in school for your child to try on. These can be found in the lobby of the School Office.
