On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.

We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.

Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree.  Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.

Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

Other recommended items: Waterproofs. Gloves, hat, scarf and warm clothing for colder weather. (Please write child’s name in all clothing). The children will need to ensure they have a water bottle to take with them.

To celebrate and consolidate our learning around the theme “I wonder how things move?”, we are excited to invite you to our Year R Parentshare on Friday 16th May from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.

During this special session, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Create minibeast-themed artwork and models with your child

  • Join your child on an exciting minibeast hunt around the school grounds

Due to limited space in the classroom, we kindly ask that only one parent or carer per pupil attends, and no younger siblings on this occasion.
