On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.

We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.

Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree.  Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.

Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

Please remember to wear suitable footwear, as the Forest School can get muddy!

During the session, your child will share a range of activities linked to our English text, Kensuke’s Kingdom. Activities may include den building, map making and creative crafts such as story stones or messages in bottles.

Before you arrive, the children will also have taken part in outdoor cooking, where they will prepare and taste barbecued fish, flatbreads, and vegetable kebabs.
