On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.
We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.
Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree. Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.
Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

May 16th, 2024We are going to make Friday 17th May ‘Wear it Green’ day. The green ribbon is the international symbol of mental health awareness, so by going green for the day, we are opening up the conversation about mental health. Children (and adults) are invited to come to school wearing anything green – this may be just a splash of the colour or wearing it from head to toe.
