On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.
We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.
Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree. Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.
Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

July 8th, 2025We would like to invite you to visit our Year 3 class Village on Wednesday 9th July. Over the past two terms, the children have been learning about travel and migration with a particular focus on comparing England and Spain. To celebrate and showcase their learning, the children have worked hard to create their very own village, complete with a bakery, café, library, theatre, gaming centre and art gallery. We would love for you to come and explore it with us!
