On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.

We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.

Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree.  Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.

Year 3 Amos Forest School

Can we remind you the children will be outdoors for each session, and must bring the following clothing to change into at school:
Long sleeved top, full length trousers, wellies/sturdy shoes or boots. Clothes are likely to become wet/dirty, so please don’t send anything you don’t want to get soiled.

Other recommended items: sun cream and sun hat for hot weather, waterproofs, gloves, hat, scarf and warm clothing for colder weather. (Please write
child’s name in all clothing.) The children will need to ensure they have a water bottle to take with them.

New Intake Tours - September 2025

If your child was born between 1st September 2020 and 31st August 2021 they will be due to start school next September. Please go to: www.kent.gov.uk/primaryadmissions for further information or email: primaryadmissions@kent.gov.uk or call 03000 412121.

The online application process opens on 5th November 2024 and closes on 15th January 2025.
