On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I welcome you to Blean Primary School.
We are a values led, family oriented school in Canterbury with a strong community ethos. I am so proud to be the Headteacher of this caring community of learners with a fantastic staff team, dedicated Governors, supportive parents and most of all, happy and engaged children.
Over the last couple of years, we have been developing our Blean Curriculum Tree. Our vision is to shape children to be physically and mentally healthy, have a love for learning, be ready for the future, be morally and socially responsible, gain high outcomes and leave Blean Primary with many happy memories.
Please have a look around our amazing school by viewing the different sections on our website!

April 26th, 2024As part of the children’s learning about the Greeks, we are delighted to let you know that we have arranged an exciting event which will be delivered by ‘Living History Workshops’ on Monday 29th April 2024 for all the children in Year 5. The activities will take place at school throughout the day and will involve the use of costume, drama, craft and historical artefacts. All costumes and materials will be provided by the company. ‘Living History Workshops’ occasionally use face paint (Snazzaroo brand) on the children. Brushes will be disinfected between each child. If you do not wish your child to have their face painted, please email enquiries@blean.kent.sch.uk with your child’s name and class by Friday 26th April 2024.
